The census continues. I’ve covered a decent number of topics, and unless something changes this’ll be the last post for the census. The topics on the docket today are:
- Transformation (primarily for its relationship to gender/species.)
- Dom/Sub Roles and Top/Bottom Positions
- RP Preferences
This post discusses F-List genders using the canonical terms. Click here if you prefer the names “purple” and “green”.
Transformation
If you read the previous post you’ll already know what I’m into, but for whatever reason I just can’t get into species transformation. I do some gender stuff, sure, but when somebody approaches me with something demanding species transformation, it’s really hard to shake that feeling that I’m obligated to do these things because I want nonhumans, not because of any related themes or dynamics.
However, I decided on this topic specifically for its relationship to gender and species, topics already covered by the census.
- What genders like gender transformation?
- How much of body part transformation’s approval is from genders with cocks?
- Is there any correlation between furry preference and species transformation?
Kink Popularity
- Species transformation enjoying greater relative approval (but fewer responses) compared to gender transformation is pretty interesting.
- Supernatural transformation seems to be the least controversial of these, followed by species transformation. (16.2% “no”, 18.8% “no” respectively.)
- “Transformation” itself enjoys pretty decent approval for a category that otherwise draws a lot of “no” results.
Gender and Transformation Popularity Heatmap
- Herms love transformation, with body swaps being the only real exception (but they still retain the second highest approval rate.)
- Herms are the only gender to give body part transformation an approval rate above 50%.
- Does None’s 47% approval rate of body swapping perhaps indicate that hub profiles are more comfortable with body swapping?
- Males (49%), females (52%), cuntboys (54%) aren’t really big on transformation, but unselecteds (43%) actively dislike it.
- Shemales in particular are big on bimbofication; shemales and herms are the only ones with a 50% approval rate.
- Males, females, and unselecteds are not fans of gender transformation.
- Cuntboys don’t mind despite their relatively low acceptance of transformation.
- Shemales (52.38%) and cuntboys (52.32%) share very similar opinions of gender transformation. Is there shared interest in males/females becoming cuntboys/shemales?
- Cuntboys (31%) and male-herms (28%) hate bimbofication. We already know them to be absolutely smitten with males and detest females, but is this disinterest in the entire concept of bimbos/himbos? Would we see similar responses if there was a “himbofication” kink?
Furry Preference and Transformation Popularity Heatmap
- Fleshies have a very strong aversion to transformation.
- For animal/object TF in particular this is very unsurprising.
- Inanimate object TF is consistently unpopular with everyone.
- Fleshies prefer supernatural TF over species TF, the opposite is true for furries.
- Supernatural TFs can be a lot more abstract (being transformed into a god is listed as an example), and a lot of the options can retain at least a superficial resemblance to humans (demons, gods, vampires, etc.)
- The more permissive your furry preference is, the more likely you are to approve of a TF kink.
- Profiles with “humans okay, furries preferred” like animal transformation slightly more than furry/human profiles, however.
Hard Kinks / Vore
I’ve covered a few of the “hard kinks” that are restricted on F-List already (ageplay, underaged characters, racism), why not do the rest?
- Various vore kinks are listed due to their relationship to gore, death, and toilet play, and for the lack of an all-encompassing “vore” kink.
- Unbirthing/oviposition are included to contrast with birthing.
- None of these “no” responses seem very surprising.
- Oviposition and ageplay are the only kinks where “no” doesn’t completely outnumber the rest of the responses. Eggs are definitely a lot less bloody and messy than live birth is, I’ll say that much.
- People who like oviposition are more likely to like Pokémon; out of 110,250 profiles, 73,930 (67.05%) approve of both Pokémon and oviposition, versus 36,320 (32.94%) that like oviposition but not Pokémon. This is in contrast to 54% of respondents stating approval of Pokémon.
- People who play underaged characters are more likely to approve of ageplay (88.80% vs. 54.88% for all ages).
- People who play underaged characters are more likely to approve of underaged characters (81.10% vs. 40.84% for all ages).
- Out of 151,130 profiles, 39,980 (26.45%) ageplay approvers are themselves underaged characters, 111,150 (73.54%) ageplay approvers play characters with an age between 18 and 130.
- A further 156,910 profiles approve of ageplay but have no age value listed.
- Out of 111,030 profiles, 31,180 (28.08%) underaged character approvers are themselves underaged characters, 79,850 (71.91%) underaged character approvers play characters with an age between 18 and 130.
- A further 110,260 profiles approve of underaged characters but have no age value listed.
- You have to eat all the eggs.
- Oviposition, racism, ageplay, and gore enjoy the lowest absolute "no"s in that order.
- Ageplay, oviposition, watersports, and underaged characters enjoy the highest absolute "fave"s in that order.
- Vore (being predator) and vore (being prey) share very similar ratios of approval/disapproval, though respondents prefer to be prey and not predator.
- If you’re into profile-play or permavore, predators only need one profile, while a prey into the same thing needs multiple profiles.
- We’ll revisit this later to see if this prey-predator relationship holds up with non-vore stuff (which is to say… are there more submissives than dominants?)
Languages
X-axis capped at 20,000 for similar reasons to the species chart.
- There’s no sane, consistently-searchable way to indicate you’re multilingual.
- It’s probably a safe bet that anybody not using German knows at least a little English.
- Some of the non-English results may be people using the language field for cosmetic purposes.
- A few of the non-English results are specifically shitpost profiles that will never see any amount of real play, though this is true for multiple languages. Search anything below the most common languages and immediately open up any result with a weird avatar.

Dom/Sub/Top/Bottom Bubbles
- Broadly speaking: lazy people win again, to nobody’s surprise.
- Also to nobody’s surprise, there’s a pretty big correlation between being dom and being top.
- Users prefer to be submissive/bottom, but if they have to choose, being a powerbottom’s more important.
- More generally, there are ~289,310 submissives, and ~250,220 dominants.
- More generally, there are ~178,740 bottoms, and ~146,550 tops.
- There are ~200 permasub permatops and ~550 permadom permabottoms.
- Collectively, there are about ~5,330 powerbottoms (any combo of always bottom, usually bottom, always dom, usually dom).
- Collectively, there are about ~2,770 service tops (any combo of always top, usually top, always sub, usually sub).
- The biggest individual datum isn’t unselected/unselected, but usually sub/usually bottom (~76,700)
- Some people seriously misunderstand what “top” and “bottom” mean.
- Of all tops, ~41,980 do not want to penetrate anybody’s vagina, anus, or mouth.
- Of all bottoms, ~40,940 do not want to have their vagina, anus, or mouth penetrated.
- The one time I asked a profile about their “always top” setting, they thought it meant cowgirl position.

Post Perspective
There’s probably a couple of GM/storyteller profiles that’d like second person.
- Of all profiles that have either “Roleplay Perspective - First Person”, “Roleplay Perspective - Second Person”, or “Roleplay Perspective - Third Person” in favorites (~331,730), 9.50% (~31,530) have Second Person as a favorite, and 0.25% (~830) specifically disapprove of First and Third Person.
RP Method
Personally, I got my start on forums (not F-List), then moved to instant messages after that (also not F-List), before finally settling on F-Chat.
There’s certainly a nice bit of convenience in just having a bunch of F-Chat identities vs. Discord accounts, and the F-List forums are obviously pretty neglected and feature-incomplete.
Grammar Competency, Requirements Bubbles
The number of (unselected)/(unselected) results is actually 909200, but as usual, especially-large values have been capped.

And with that, this little Pet Project has come to a close. We’ve examined a few relationships between genders, species, hard kinks, and writing/roleplaying preferences.
